Cherokee School Class of 1946
Dale Chase class
of 1941 and his Turley High School Band Emblem. He told me the
band would march down 60th Street going West, cross the railroad
tracks, around the block and back down 60th street back to the
school. He played the Tuba.

Seniors, 1,133 from Central, 73 from Clinton and 35 from Cherokee
School, make record roster of Tulsa Graduates on Mary 29, 1936 when
they all graduated from the Tulsa Coliseum. They all received
their deploma that night. Back in 1936, this was a very big
event to have taken place. The photo above is the 35 seniors
that graduated from Cherokee School.
